when he made the final 53-man roster of the Philadelphia Eagles late Tuesday afternoon and then, later that evening

“I was excited,” said Goodrich. “I was with my family. We went out to eat. I ended up going to the Lil Baby concert with the DBs. It was a good time. I enjoyed it.”

Goodrich is like any athlete in general and defensive back more specifically in that he tries not to get too high or too low

He’s a Clemson guy. I used to watch his highlights. Then I looked at the depth chart. I had seen that they had (Darius) Slay and Avonte (Maddox)

Dawkins is in the Hall of Fame after spending 13 of his 16-year NFL career with the Eagles, who took him in the second round of the 1996 NFL Draft.

Goodrich had a nondescript rookie summer and was released from the team following last year’s training camp.
